Hi,
Awesome game!!! Just thought I'd post some bugs I've found.

1) Financial requirement - Challenges that need you to have $xxx to pass can easily be beaten by taking out a loan then paying it back. Please make these challenges that "you must have $xxx after you've paid off all your loans" or "have earnt $xxx after expenses from this point onwards" as they're too easy to cheat on.

2) Level 2 - I was congratulated on completing the level without needing any metros - I had been allowed to build metros within the level which the comment suggests should have been disabled, and I had two of them at the end of the game when she was saying I hadn't used any.

3) If I have people waiting on a line and that line gets closed or deleted, all the people waiting should get annoyed at me, however even deleting a line with hundreds of people waiting on it does not seem to affect my reputation

4) The game will let me place metro stops in the middle of a vacant area totally surrounded by buildings without a gap for people to walk through

5) Some challenges should be frequently rechecked. Eg. I get a challenge asking me to build a line from one corner of the map to the other. To pass the challenge I place stops at each end, assign one vehicle to it and open the line. I then delete the line but the challenge stays completed. It should go back to uncompleted and force the player to rebuild it and keep it open permanently to class that challenge as complete.

Some requests
1) More zoom out distance please - I would like to be able to zoom out a lot further on the map
2) More cities with more challenges!
3) I can click a person and see where they work. It is unexpected (though I can see why it might be deliberate) that you can't click a workplace and see where the people that work there live. It makes the game more challenging to not have this feature, but without it I find the information pages mostly useless.
4) Adding stops shouldn't close a line automatically. Either (ideally) just add the new stop in, or print an error message saying "close the line first".
5) It's really hard to tell when you're in add stops to line mode or not - the add stops button going dark doesn't intuitively tell me I'm adding stops to the line, so I frequently think I'm adding a stop but end up just selecting one instead.

I'm enjoying this game so much more than any game I've played in a long time and am really looking forward to further updates / expansion packs. Thanks for a great game!!!

Maybe instead of having the devs remove the cheat 'bugs' you should exercise a little restraint. It's a single player game and if someone wants to take out a loan to complete an objective or put a metro on top of a mountain who really cares. This seems to be one of the few games these days that doesn't constantly hold your hand and prevent you from doing things that stray from the linear checkpoint path.

It should go back to uncompleted and force the player to rebuild it and keep it open permanently to class that challenge as complete.

Challenges in the game are not really something to look up. If the person can go to the place he/she is asking for making 1 transfer, you won't complete the mission. So, most of the "challenges" are only useful to get more money. I gave up hoping the missions were something the devs careful thought about it, to give real challenge. Most missions you need to create a line (a single line) across town, which is completely unrealistic and impossible to maintain. So get used to it: make two stops, open the line, get the money and close it.
If it forces the player to keep it, would be just horrible.

Some requests
1) More zoom out distance please - I would like to be able to zoom out a lot further on the map

You can get great zooming, in and out, with XDragons Mod.

2) More cities with more challenges!

A lot of cities are popping around CiM community. Go to User Modifications folder of this forum and you will see a bunch of new cities to download. Can also see it here:
http://citiesinmotion.wikispaces.com/Maps

3) I can click a person and see where they work. It is unexpected (though I can see why it might be deliberate) that you can't click a workplace and see where the people that work there live. It makes the game more challenging to not have this feature, but without it I find the information pages mostly useless.

I think that wouldn't be much useful since people in CiM get fired and get new jobs. It's a different approach from Traffic Giant, where people had the same job for the rest of their lives, and I'm not sure if they had unemployed.
The thing is that if you have this information it will guide you to make lines from one residential place to one specific workplace, trying to transport some people. And then with changes your line won't be so useful for those people anymore.
Instead, the game divide people in categories, like blue collars, white collars. You can see in the info map where the blue collars and white collars, etc work and live. So, if Thompson get fired from a factory, most likely another blue collar will replace him. Even if this person lives in another apartment, your network will provide blue collars to factories, not Thompson to factory. Don't know if I've being very clear, but that's it.

Just my opinion regarding your comments.
Regarding challenges: yeah, they are not too strict, but i don't really think that it would be a problem. I'm playing sandbox mode anyway and don't care about them. If a line completes some of them then i'm glad, but i'm not doing my planning according to them.
I don't understand your problem with metro stops and gap for people...can you give a screenshot?

Requests: for zooming there's already some mods available. With 3 and 5 i agree. 4 - Adding a stop doesn't close a line automatically. If you add a stop to a CLOSED line that it remains closed. But you can open it if you want to. Unclosed lines will only be closed if you click on the first station again.

And yeah, the game is really great! :)

It would really be helpful however if i could find out from where most people come to a given building. For instance: organizing transport to golf clubs are constant problem for me. Helicopter seem to be the best option for them, but not easy to decide from where to transport all the rich people...

You can't see where people are coming from to a specific building because they can come from just anywhere.
People don't have a regular routine. A specific person can decide to go to his home, to work, shopping, leisure etc at any given moment.
A golf club will probably have mostly business people, but they can come from their home, work, or just about anywhere in the city.

To build a line you just have to have two stops, a bus (or whatever) and click GO. Instant success. Then you can close the line, dlete the stops and move the vehicle to the depot for another line. As was said before, that's cheating. Make believe you're running a transit system and not just trying to beat a game. I find it makes it more fun and more realistic. How many real-life transportation systems are rolling in profit?

I've noticed there are 2 balances on the finance screen. One is your actual 'cash' the other is the companies balance, am I right in thinking that loans don't add to the second one? Maybe the accumulate money missions should check this balance instead?

I find that you can complete this by accident when taking a loan out to build a line or something which is a bit annoying.

2) Level 2 - I was congratulated on completing the level without needing any metros - I had been allowed to build metros within the level which the comment suggests should have been disabled, and I had two of them at the end of the game when she was saying I hadn't used any.

I would like to see a check before the 'story-line' missions that the previous one has been completed before the next one fires. Just for continuity & not to have the immersion broken really.

I dunno if it supposed to be this way or it is a bug but my 16-person-capacity helicopter sometimes carry 21 people. Are they getting ride standing up like in a bus or what?

I noticed that many times, after a vehicle is broken down it loads all the people in the station. At one time, I had a metro with more then 200 people on board.

Hi,
Perhaps this bug also fixed it should. At the five pictures show that the bus Comet XL and Pavlov stretch in the loading of passengers do not really stoped.
During the load of passengers, the second lane is blocked.
The Pavlov Extended Bus stops correctly at the Busstop.
bye sapidio
