I'm playing Kaiserreich if it matters for these.

1. Does IC, resources, and infrastructure in provinces I conquer rebuild itself from being destroyed or do I need to use IC to restore them? If so, is this done through dedicating IC in the econ window or through provincial improvements? If the latter, does rebuilding infra also restore resources/IC or do I have to restore IC by building it directly, and if the latter, is it worth it, or should I not bother rebuilding destroyed IC?

2. Because of an event, I'm at war with a country that I cannot physically move troops to. Is there any consequence for being at war for a long time, or should I just let the war go on w/o fighting for a few years?

3. If I break a postwar peace treaty with a country and attack them, what are the consequences?

1) Everything that is IC, infra, airport, ports, etc. after conquering the province is rebuilt automatically. Reconstruction would go faster with a high level of infra (which means that it can be profitable to invest a little in infra construction to rebuild a port in a province with a very low infra for example)

2) A long war does not really have a consequence according to my experience, maybe at the limit the enemy will use his fleet/ his sub to sink convoys or interrupt your trade

3) I don’t know, maybe an extra cost in dissent and/or belligerence ?

2.- Though there are hardcore players who refuse to exploit war abuse to get extra IC and manpower growth as well as lower Consumer costs, if you're ok it will not directly affect you... for a year or so. If you maintain a war situation with another country belligerence will rise, which makes other countries more likely to DOW you. You can somewhat palliate this effect by clicking 'democracies can start war' to OFF, but other countries will still want a piece of you.

3.- The consequences are a very high instant belligerence gain and that's it. If you have a non-aggression pact that you want to break it will net you 5% dissent.

On DH Full probably but in KR, I had amused with Russia to climb up to 300 belligerence and nobody DOW me and right now, with my game with Japan, I’m up to 200 without a DOW again. Manifestly, as long as you have a powerful army and/or powerful allies risk of war due to belligerence is null.
