Hi everyone,
I'm 'new-ish' to Stellaris and have been trying to win a game, but I'm in a bit of a tight spot. I am playing as the United Ix'Idar Collective and the problem is an awakened empire (Pouz-Jok Restorers). They've taken a big a chunk of the galaxy by going after other empires (and since I was trying to be friendly there were quite a lot of those that I hadn't conquered). Now I'm just taking over the top part of the map before the awakened empire gets to it. I'm still going to have to find a way to deal with them at some point, but as of right now, there's a huge difference between our fleet powers. (No one else galaxy can help. They're all "Pathetic" compared to me.)
They have 600-700K military power as opposed to my 250K military power.
I'm still trying to figure out how the AI directs its fleets so I can ambush them. I've done a few test runs and seem to do pretty well vs fleets of 100-200K, but they're usually joined by a fleet of 400K before I am done. I was thinking of specializing my entire fleet to counter their ships, since I read online that FEs don't change their ships (and I need don't variety to fight anyone else, since I have numbers.) The problem is that I'm not sure how to counter their ships or what sort of fleet I should have, so if anyone can help I would be very much appreciate it.
In the second spoiler I put images of the ships they are using (which show their shields and armor). From the debris I find after fighting them, it seems that they have:
Also, if anyone has tips for fighting the AI, I will gladly listen.

- Glory Class: Guardian-Point Defense, Kinetic Artillery
- Supremacy Class: Strike Craft (Bombers and Fighters), Giga Cannons, Flak Artillery, possibly Kinetic Artillery and Stormfire Autocannons
