If the invasion ai will really become so effective that it will really threaten a player... then I applaud you Lothos and I too will say that HOI2 will be one step closer to finishing stage.
BTW, will USA/UK keep invading beaches alone or will they start doing joint landings? Or at least, if one of the powers establishes a beachhead, will its allies REALLY struggle to assist it? Because now they only seem to put a token effort into it. Also it would be nice if allied AI sent send expeditionary forces not only to other AIs, but also to the player, the way it did in HOI1.
And again I ask, will Germany keep invading Yugoslavia and USSR from its own territory only, or will it eventualy learn to use its allied territory for this purpose also?

Sounds like 1.3 will really be a big step forward even though if so many changes are made I am pretty sure that if the patch goes live and the whole crowd with all their different playstyles gets their hands on the patch some issues still will be found. Would be nice if in such a case people would stay calm which motivates Lothos and Johan for sure more to make a hotfix or another patch in shorter timespan (if the issues are not that serious) then the usual "Waaah! So many months and the patch doesnt work!" - screaming I expect...

The questions on specific details I can't answer yay or nay due to the NDA but after 1.3 I can go into some details on why the AI can and can't do something etc... so people get a better understanding.
Best news I've heard in a long time. After 1.3 is released the mods will start coming out again.

Basically, all this work will pay off with hardcore customer support (as you see now) and as a beginner in programming, I deeply sympathize with your efforts!!! Don't rush it, man. Although sometimes I DO have the urge to say "I wonder if today we will garner anymore info on the release of the patch?", I realize that Paradox is not allowed to legally answer this based on their agreements. Most people who keep asking should probably recognize this.

Has the naval AI been improved to any extent? And is Russia and the western allies now tougher opponents to the axis (germany, italy) and has the japanese navy learned how to deal with the usa?
I'm sure there have been many improvements. Release the patch already so I can have these questions answered! :rofl:
