[SOLVED] Irritating In-Game Pop-ups

How do I get rid of these irritating in-game pop-ups (see attached pic - lower left corner of the pic).
I have checked the Options-->Gameplay-->In-game settings and found the setting "Show in-game guide popups".
It is unclicked, but doesn't seem to stop them.

Maybe it's called something else?

A mild irritation at best,
it also probably saved CO soooo much hassle here as the majority of the human race need to be told more than once

That should usually just remove those pop-up guides. For each new game.. or it is because I also play my game moded..

I see you are already playing with mods, maybe try and use the Hide It! mod:

I did disable it there, but it still pops up.

The only guide pop-up that appears at the start of every game is the one in the attached screenshot, yes. Nothing else should come up.

To give you a more sensible answer.
It will give you each message once, i barely notice it cause i can just press B (controller)
This will happen when going through mile stones / unlocks, it is saved with the save file as viewed

BTW, updates like to reset it
