It's a better model in which to make money, yes, but can you really say it doesn't upset you that they're doing this?

Yes, I am actually happy about this business model. It is more fair to me as a consumer. Here is why:

1. Content gets out faster.
2. I can buy what I want and still play with my friends (that you cannot atm is a bug).
3. If I do not buy I still get a lot of free stuff through content patches.

Equating PDox content with fecal matter is absurd. You don't like their business model. Ok, we understand that. You're angry, ok, we understand that. If you continue to post in the same vein, how can we take you seriously? You've said that you're not buying their games any more - that is your right. Perhaps PDox will be sorry to hear that, perhaps not. But please keep it above the belt here - we're all trying to be responsible, fair-minded people. (Trolls excepted - you trolls know who you are)

When I'm sold an 8mb "expansion pack" for $10, that is fecal matter. The content itself is not fecal matter, but the business model is. Apparently you like the taste of fecal matter, or rather can ignore it because of all the other good tasting stuff around it. I, unfortunately, can't ignore it, mainly because I've seen this happen before. They start sneaking in bits of fecal matter into your sandwich, and it keeps getting more and more pronounced, until the entire sandwich is fecal matter. And it's been such a gradual change you don't notice you're eating a fecal sandwich.

Except Sword of Islam is nothing compared to Napoleon's Ambition, In Nomine, Heir to the Throne, or Divine Wind. It is, at best, 1/10th of any of those expansions. If there is an expansion that sells for $10, I expect it to have $10 worth of content.

Actually.. SoI is as big as those.. We just gave away several of the features for free instead this time.

If you don't want years of patching with lots of free content, then thats your choice.

This is how we do stuff, we will keep selling new dlc and expansions every 2-3 months and give lots of stuff for free. Its working out nicely for us and you so it won't change.
