Softer Colorscales

Hi,

I just reinstalled EU2 after a long time to check out what the new EEP and 1.8 patches had changed and I fell in love with the game again. I still however found the original map colours a bit loud but, looking for colorscales mods, found that were on links that were no longer active. So i tinkered and made my own.

I really like the mod, especially after you toned down the yellow and increased the tan/brown contrast...very nice!

It goes *great* with EGUFSM, giving everything a new feel and flavor...maybe you and Birger Jarl can get together and bundle it?

BTW, the modified colorscales you were looking for can be found both in the MDS (Modern Day Scenario) and ATF (After The Flood) scenarios. But yours beats those IMO.

Well thanks guys (and or girls, you can never tell from an e-moniker)!

I am not very technical so I cannot do shields but I'm glad this can be of use. A long time ago I participate in the EEP random events thread and, these last few days, I find it hard to remember why I stopped playing for a couple years it seems!

It still works as far as I can tell. I just tested it this morning when I read your post Sute]. The URL to view is at the top of the thread and the one to download is the one referenced by von Loch Ness.

It's things like this that makes me return to EU2 once in a while.
With the Font-Mod and EGUFSM and now this, EU2 is starting to look more, how shall I say?

I can't 'download' it, and I don't know what to do with it lol.

Rightclick and "Save target as"
