[omissis]Where do you go to gain knowledge about new games?
In the past i used to rely on the italian most read videogames magazine (The Games Machine, hope i'm not breaking rules by naming it), but its coverage of PI-developed games was quite poor: iirc no previews and quite late and short reviews of games and expansions, like 1-2 pages and not excellent ratings (they pointed out the niche kind of gaming, the graphics... not really something related to the gameplay). It was better (normal treatment) for the traditional games just published bi Paradox, like King Arthur or Mount&Blade.
A few months ago i decided to drop it and now these are my favourite sources of infos, videos, screenshots, etc.:
- steam (mostly) and GG for single-player games. Steam news popups are convenient to point out new games and upcoming releases;
- PI forums (i check daily the ones of V2, HoI3, EU3 and now Sengoku) and RSS feeds for PI games;
- mmorpgitalia (an italian portal about mmos) for the MMOs. They spoke about Salem too, mostly about the permadeath feature, but hadn't many more news about it.
Generally speaking, i think that PI hasn't the coverage its games deserve. Guess it's an hype problem, since media tend to be attracted mostly by astounding graphic
