Cuz I totally want to play a Paradox grand strategy game set in and based on Tyranny!!!!11!!1!1eleventy!!!!

I mean, c'mon. With where the game ends, it's the perfect starting point for a PGSG.

And we totally need to be able to be an evil overlord conquering the lands.

p.s. If y'all actually do make this game, and you use that name, I want credit for it, Dear Undead Platypi Overlords.

p.p.s. If you do make the game but don't use the name, I'm totally not ever buying anything from Paradox ever again for at least...um..a week?

The thing is, with enough modding of traits on Crusader Kings 2 it would probably work and be awesome, BUT, Crusader Kings 2 is getting kinda old, and as a rule complex features tend to cause a lot of lag problems, and the setting simply demands complex features (edicts for one example).

I don't see it working on EU 4, because Tyranny is very character centric.

If we have a CK2 mod for Game of Thrones that border perfection (gameplay and adaptation) I imagine that a Tyranny based game/mod is totally possible.

For the Archons - Overlords interactions the vassal system is already there.

Someone will find a way to make edicts work bassed on the epidemics mechanincs from the "reapers due" and done O_O

The main problem I see is that the Tiers is smaller than usual for a CKII game. Like, maybe the combined region is a single Empire tier title, tops? While the vast majority of Kyros' empire is a question mark about which we know only the tiniest fragments. And Kyros themself, well, you see the problem already.

I suppose a modder could "expand" the tiers, assuming it to be larger than it's shown as -- like how Elder Kings Solitude is far more populous (and abstract) than the glorified stonework village in Skyrim. From there, it's filling in cities and villages, and having Kyros' empire be an Aztec/Mongol type off-map horde, perhaps?

Making it about the tiers alone would actually kill the purpose of the mod.

The issue is that there is little lore about what the rest of the empire was before Kyros.

Kyro's empire couldn't be farther away from a horde, it is very centralized, it's more of a Roman Empire type government.

The biggest issue however is making magic work propperly, or having the Archons (and Kyros for that matter) be actually impressive (if not immortal) characters.

Elder Kings fills in a lot of spaces and makes a lot of educated guesses outside of Tamriel, Witcher Kings takes a relatively tiny world and fills it out well... The North could be filled with a lot of made-up regions, but the best thing would probably be to focus on the Tiers and flesh it out: each tier being de jure kingdoms, Prosperity/Depopulation system to represent the effects of edicts, Disfavored and Chorus occupying their capital sites with enough event armies at start to expand, titular empire titles to create depending on who becomes more successful, Kyros's armies marching in as a late-game Mongol horde... it could work.

World of tyranny needs to have some lore, background, history etc. For now we have only standard "evil-empire-invading-lone-weak-country" plot. More games, please!
