There is a high probability that the content of the next DLC will introduce a fantasy twist to Crusader Kings 2, assuming Paradox continues its joking trend.
So when is the August DLC going to be revealed?

If it is, I am fully prepared to argue against the majority that it is somehow a perfectly valid DLC.

No skin off my teeth really. If it is I'll just not buy it, just like I didn't buy SI. There's really no point in arguing with the sycophants about it. I'm not entirely opposed to something plausible though. Aztec invasion was utterly and completely implausible on many levels.

Five Paradox dollars on HRE expansion, even though I really wish the DLC did nothing but just add tons of events and other, active, things to do.

Just some inkling of when we might learn this info would be enough for me. Then I wouldn't have to check back constantly to see if any info has been released yet or not.
I feel like its pretty obvious that going this late without announcing it means its going to be "SUPRISE! YOU ALL ASKED FOR IT! ZOMBIES! ZOMBIES AND JEWS"

They could make a Swedish invasion mod since Paradox Interactive is from Sweden. Maybe there could be a "King Johan I of the Paradox Empire" and all the devs would become counts and dukes of the new "Paradox empire" that would replace Sweden on the map.
It would then be quite intresting to play as Denmark one day and suddenly receive this warning message saying: "The Great Paradoxian Empire of King Johan has now marched his 50000k army and 8000 ship strong navy against your realm!", and six days later have the Danish King "locked away in a dungeon awaiting his fate..."

Well, maybe it's August release as in Aug 30. So hey, they have plenty of time haha.
I sure hope not. 4-6 weeks development time from a single dev and no involvement from Doomdark isn't enough to do this right.
The fact that they haven't announced it yet doesn't mean that they haven't started to work on it.
Anyway, they said they would be SMALL DLCs. I very much doubt it can be a theocracy DLC. As for me, I'm logging daily hoping that today will be the day of the announcement, but each day I'm disappointed

My money is on cadet branches and the CK2-EU4 converter. Seems a work easy enough for a small team of developers in a short time.
I wouldn't mind a crazy fantasy DLC. Specially if it adds nice things for mods.
