What’s your suggestion? Who can get the highest score with, say, Sweden? Unfortunately, there would probably cheating. I don’t think there’s any way to verify if a SP game was played without cheats.
MP games take way to long to get significant numbers. Do you have a system of 2 player MP games?
I wish Vicky had recorded games. You know, where you could download a finished game and watch it from the beginning (would need and ultra, super-duper speed).

Maybe one on one-MP games, with two roughly equal nations and then switching so that both player play both nations, for the sake of balance, playing best out of three sets of nations.
That would take a good lot of time, though; but it wouldn't be possible to cheat.
To pull this kind of tournament off, you'd need to find two powerful, yet relatively equal countries in both events and potential, then have two players compete against one another to see who could get the higher score. Of course, you would have to set a stop date, like Jan. 1 1860. You co-uld play through to longer for the higher brackets, and the finalists could play a full game.

I was actually thinking of a SP challenge. MP games usually take a lot of time to organize and play. Cheating would of course not be allowed, but as that cannot be enforced it's up to the honesty of the player.

US Civil War -1860 senario is a good possibility. Both sides are relativly close with a slight advantage for the North. Its not perfect, but I doubt you'll find a more balanced senario available "off the shelf".

Without breaking peace treaties I did a PU in the end of 1841 while I had satelited france and taken all of denmark and switzerland except their capitals in the time between this wars while I also became 1st in industry. But I wont tell more about this because I will make an AAR... :rofl:

Well, give it a few days. I'll see what I can do about throwing together a few ideas for a basic tournament model.
