I do hope that those in charge of the IP have played VTM: Bloodlines. While buggy as heck, it has a spectacular game design. So many things were done right in it. :)

There also were Magna Mundi the Game and East versus West; and yes all the fallout in particular the two games I mentioned gave when canceled (and especially the cancellation of Magna Mundi) has made them less willing to announce things ahead of time; things got quite nasty when Magna Mundi was canceled due to it having been so awaited.

Paradox needs to track down these guys if they plan on making another RPG with this license.

This, a thousand times. PI needs to play Vampire the masquerade: bloodlines if they have not done it. It might be buggy as hell, but it is a masterpiece of work and actually feels like you are in the wod universe. While the graphics might be dated, the work itself is fantastic, a near perfect blend of first person and RPG gameplay that doesn't feel dummed down or streamlined in any way. I would kill for a VTM:B 2 and I bet PI could put up a kickstarter for it and it would easily reach its goals.

Whatever PI does, just make it awesome, sexy, bloody and mature. I will say that I would not have a wod game in the modern setting, but keep it in the 80's/early 90's at the latest to keep that gothic punk feel which is so much part of the WOD setting. Modern times just doesn't work for the gothic punk feel. On a side note, would P.I. consider leasing out the license to other game devs? Would love to see what other companies would do with a wod license (looking at you CDPR).

I don't really remember either, you can find most of the information via google/duckduckgo (albeit a tad more in depth than usual). That said, my hazy memory is that getting Cain to enforce the status quo is basically kind of a narrative stretch.

To give DMs a way out if the players turn out to loathe what he went with I guess or to give some fashion to end it without dooming all(or most) life.

There is this new Paradox building, right?

Well inside, hidden in some dark place, there is a secret vault (personally i suspect its bellow Johan's desk but thats mere speculation).

Inside this vault are all secret, semi secret and super secret projects, stuff they are working on or plan to work on in the near future.

It is my life's goal to break into Paradox Vault and steal all their secrets.

I even dreamed about it once.
