So in watching the Blorg Stream I noticed a few things.
First: when the Qell'Nudar planets rebelled, the news of their arrival initially said they were "The Holy Qell'Nudar Republic," but when they appeared in the game and in the negotiation screen they were the "Quel'Nudar Commonwealth."
Also the whole situation was confusing because both they and the other Qell'Nudar rebels are identified as rebels on the map but on the diplomacy screen and the announcement of their independence they are identified as vassals of the Unified Qell'Nudar States.
I mean isn't it super counter intuitive that people that rebel against your enemies are automatically your enemies as well? That doesn't seem right. Do you think that's how it's supposed to work.
I also noticed at the end that the Qell'Nudar Commonwealth joined another alliance. I believe that was the reason they lost control of the world. And if so, does that mean they are no longer part of the war? Or that "The Glorious Compact" is now at war with the Blorg? Their armies appeared to automatically vacate the planet after that so it seems unlikely.
But if that's the case, then doesn't it contradict what they said about you needing to make peace with all your enemies at once? Were the rebels functionally a part of the Just League, but then left it when they joined the Glorious Compact?
The whole situation seems like the AI doesn't know how to make sense of all the contradictory circumstances.
