As a (more or less) impartial observer, I don't see how Mattobro is being particularly provocative. I suppose he could have worded some things in a slightly milder way, but he was downright pleasant for having an argument on the internet.
Anyways, I think that I would like to see Theocracies following Republics, and then, with some luck, the DLC model will have been successful enough that we could get two pagan DLCs- one focusing on the steppe hordes and mechanics specific to the invasions, and then another for everyone else. As far as earlier scenarios go, I would like to see an official 1000 AD or even 900's AD start, but I think getting the pagan mechanics right takes precedence over that. Perhaps a timeline extension DLC could be released down the road, assuming Paradox thinks they can do one well?
