Because... because...
I hate you.
Anyway I'm off from annoying you all for a few hours, it's dawn... exercise time.

"Augustus", if I remember correctly.EUROO7 said:Ah!
But at that time, he did not have "Palatine Hill".
What was his title at that time?
Yes!Snugglie said:"Augustus", if I remember correctly.
Which clearly is an EU3 reference to the title of the Holy Roman EmperorSnugglie said:"Augustus", if I remember correctly.

EDIT: Ok EURO, I could tolerate a little bit of beard and a small hat, but this is just excessive! Are you growing a strike-beard?
Ok, I'll give you that, but I still don't think Johan would give away the next title that easy. I mean what would be the point of this whole forum?EUROO7 said:And rabbits are peace-loving animals!
Please, it was a clear reference to EU: R
EDIT: Yes.
What's the point of the EUIII forum? Or the HOI forum? Rome?Flooper X said:Ok, I'll give you that, but I still don't think Johan would give away the next title that easy. I mean what would be the point of this whole forum?
I remember him having that title since at least January.Flooper X said:Ok, I'll give you that, but I still don't think Johan would give away the next title that easy. I mean what would be the point of this whole forum?
And it should be noted that he only changed his title once Rome was released, let alone anounced (IIRC)
To discuss those games, but obviously, it is impossible to discuss this game since we have no info about it.EUROO7 said:What's the point of the EUIII forum? Or the HOI forum? Rome?

I think it will be different than anything ever released by Paradox. I, for one, am going to buy the CE edition!Snugglie said:His name and title sure point towards a Greek game, but with the whole "their biggest release yet" it does not seem to be an expansion for Rome. Also, with the experiences of Rome, it would feel utterly surprising if they launched a game with basically the same concept, but a few centuries earlier in the same region. No, in that case there has to be something more innovative to it. Maybe more of real (city)state-building á la Victoria, mayhaps?

now I say the point of this forum, as described by Johan as well as noticable through what threads are locked and what threads aren't, is to speculate about the identity of this game. I say why reveal the answer to all of that, before the forum was even created? It makes no sense, especially considering that he usually doesn't hint through his title/location. Of course, thay don't usually do forums like this either, so you might be right, but it doesn't seem consistant. Paradoxs goal is to create speculation, speculation will end once there is a concensus, revealing the theme of the game would cause a consensus, thus, they wouldn't want to reveal, or hint, anything. If they would, it would be double messages.
At least thats the way I see it
anyways, it was announced before he changed title
I'm going to let the forum play it for a month before buying it at all, in order to avoid spending money on a bug-fest á la Deus Vult or an incomplete game such as Rome.EUROO7 said:I think it will be different than anything ever released by Paradox. I, for one, am going to buy the CE edition!![]()
I never bought Rome, so I still have high hopes!Snugglie said:I'm going to let the forum play it for a month before buying it at all, in order to avoid spending money on a bug-fest á la Deus Vult or an incomplete game such as Rome. And Rome was expensive, so I feel I have the right to be cautious.
