Normally I sit around, improve my armies, wait for my damned manpower to go up and see if anyone wants to be friends or vassels.

Well, I normally just play Castille now, so I like to ally Byzantium when I am not warring against Europe. That way I have an easy time keeping my army tradition at 100, even better if I can get a vassal over there, tons of wars that nobody in Europe cares about.
