Groogy just put out a DD, finally the New World is being reworked!

But yes, the new world desperately needs missions trees and a massive rework, but also a patch to add mission trees for the Middle East, would be great. Central Asia could use a bit more love, India is really well fleshed out content-wise but the mission trees need to be reworked since many of them use estate privileges that are impossible with the estates rework.

Yep Americas as others are saying. If the Americas and SSA receive deep updates I will be fairly happy with the game. Here are some things I would like in an Americas update
  • Complete rework of how colonization works. Include a few different types (settlement, trading, resource extraction) and have it increase your province dev over time depending on what type you use
  • gradual assimilation of some natives while others are hard to assimilate
  • conflict between crown and local landowners over economic privileges, and between natives and creoles trying to take their land
  • Change how the colonial cultures like Mexican, American, Brazilian work and add distinct ones for the whole continent
  • Add more abilities to conquistadors. Historically they were able to conquer Aztecs, Mayas, Incas, Muiscas fairly quickly by exploiting pandemics and recruiting native allies, and there were also some interesting expeditions in other areas that aren't reflected well
  • African diaspora representation and syncretism of native + African religions with Christianity
  • Huge buff to tribes and make the absurd migration thing much rarer
  • More provinces in at the very least the Andean region and Central America, and wastelands in certain parts of Mexico and South America
  • More accurate Andes in general, including more content for the Inti religion (such as religious festivals that draw people to your capital, mit'a and mitma abilities)
  • Mission trees. Not even Aztec or Inca have even small mission trees

It's the same in NA though. NA has even less flavor than SA just because the Inca exist.
And the Aztec and Mayan also exist in NA, which still makes it far more flavourful than South America.

But lets be practical, when you say North America, you clearly aren't including the Meso-American civilizations. And when I say South America, I am not including the Andean civilizations.

There are not even unique missions in NA and the aztec flavor mainly comes from Nahuatl. Sure I forgot about the Maya which are not on par with the Inca though. So if you count everything together, then NA and SA are pretty much even. Not saying that the Inca aren't a joke either with their two missions, but they are a bit less of a joke than the Maya.
