I'd definitely like to see Africa get some unit packs in the future.

Prussia would like a word with you about that. Sure the teutonic knight got new troops, but prussia still use the standard ones. How about giving Venice some love as well? I think they're literally the only great power in the game to have squat.
Wonderful. I mean after a quick google search I found something like this:

Quite possibly the single greatest army uniforms I have ever seen.

So, did anyone else notice that one of the main complaints was at least give them some boots...and not one of the soldiers in that picture is wearing shoes except the Europeans.
More African achievements too please!I'd definitely like to see Africa get some unit packs in the future.
We may see some more Prussia love when they release Evangelical Majors (the real one) alongside (guessing) Sweden and France finished up. I just hope if they give Prussia some units it takes the Tier 2 from Branden and gives Branden 1,3, and 4. Like Holland and the Netherlands.Prussia would like a word with you about that. Sure the teutonic knight got new troops, but prussia still use the standard ones.
And hopefully also for Kongo and (if I can dream) Mutapa. Since unit packs tend to come in threes and fours now though they definitely have the potential to cover a lot of ground at once. Ideally I'd like to see Ajuuraan, Kanem Bornu, and some of the smaller pagan nations covered as well (Zazzau would be a good pick thanks to their god-queen, or Benin and Dahomey for their ideas). Oh, and the Maghreb. Morocco could use some unique models. Please Paradox make something unique at least for Ethiopia and Mali.

Are they Dwemer from Vvardenfell ?
It's not a big deal at all, but it's a small one. Small nuisance. Small nuisance that just sits there. Sits there, laughing at you, knowing you can't do anything about it.I'm sorry you don't see the game this way, but 1/4th of the game is controlling your units. You stare at them. For a long time. And the African unit models are literally the WORST representation in the game of any country or nationality.
Jup, beeing barefooted was normal in 95% of Sub-Saharan Africa. Even the knights which faced the Europeans in the colonial wars of the late 1800's/early 1900's rode their horses barefooted, despite wearing gambesons and chainmail armours over their whole body. The only culture which made a widespread use of boots, atleast for cavalry, was Christian Nubia (Makuria and Alodia). That's just a drawing. There's other ones with boots.

Actual period art suggests footwear (at least for the Mande Cavalry which was equipped by the Mansa)

Being barefoot was quite normal though, a lot of WW1 soldiers from the French colonies went barefoot.
