From my savegame given above:
I reach 100k cims, I put the 3 monuments was missing me, climbed attractiveness to 1432 and has remained there. Tourist are +-350.
In this city, it seems that there will be no bug tourist to 12.

Bug only appears in cties with european theme? in tests that I did in my another city was European theme.

This happened to me long before european themes and AD. Got an old city with close to 400k cims and 12 tourists.

European theme came out in May, long ago. Anyway it is thought aloud.
European theme have more unique buildings.
And with preorder "AD" and DLC "AD", there are 5+5 more. Turjan put and no bug.
It's just a guess on my part.

But if you say that happened to you before, my conjecture is invalid.

That specific matter of parks causing falling commercial demand was addressed a long time ago in a patch, the problem with tourists is another entirely.

Nice job, coming into a thread where the developers ask for examples of the problem, get them, thank the people for the examples, and say they're working on it, just to spew vitriol about how much the developers suck.

I didn’t say the developers suck, don’t attribute words to me I didn’t say. I did say that before they released AD they didn’t do the right thing and fix the broken Space Elevator or tourism when so many, including myself, complained they were broken long before AD was released. I don’t take their fixing core problems for granted, I’ll wait until I see the patch fix that tells us they fixed these problems and so far it looks like we’re still waiting. I do think it’s a good sign they finally took interest in the problem. After seeing how Maxis ignored fixing legacy problems in Sim City’s last release I am hesitant to trust others until after they prove worth trusting to fix legacy issues and poor core game programming. Now if they’d only take an interest in the life span issue and traffic on multi-lane roads and highways then Skylines could be awesome.

Any further progress on this? My large city just hit the "limit" and attractiveness dropped to zero.
If Finland is in any way like Sweden in this regard, there won't be happening much during Christmastide, regardless whether people have official vacation or not. And I think it was said that CO took off over the holidays.

But yeah, I agree. The fact I didn't post anything new in here was more due to my hope that CO would do something to get to the reason behind this bug. Some kind of update would be nice.

Agree about the long holiday. They'll be back around Jan 10 for a hard month before the typical European "ski break" in mid february. Life's tough in the socialist hell-hole.

I feel like I need to make modded versions of all the uniques I've subbed and set attractiveness to zero. And maybe tone down the effect and radius on some of them...

But thanks to you, at least now I know how :)

well, they will lose snowfall sales if they dont fix afterdark bugs.

Building limit increase was nice, but it was the only patch and more was promised!

So it seems like the goal is to stay at around 1k attractiveness and probably a good idea to not build the space elevator?

I've noted a little increase - before was 20 now are 200 in a city of almost 1 mi habitants

But still low, the example above is an extreme case, but in my 100k cities I don't have much more than 70 until now. Is low anyway...

Well, I don't know if it only happen in old cities. I begin a new city (or almost, it had only 20k) and I grew the city up. Now I'm with 66k hab and 470 tourists without monuments.
It's acceptable, in this context.
