So this kind of made me angry...

I am early in the game on a new campaign, and my second colony, I am only just barely have a third, has Titanic life.

I got the colony event where you get the chance to study the colossal life, only for it to end with 3 titans going berserk and fighting my armies. Ok, I thought, I'll try to beat them. I had 3 defense armies there, and I got 4 militias when the battle started. But after a while it became clear that it wasn't enough. I tried to train more defense armies only to learn you can't train armies when you are being invaded.
So I lost the battle and what? The planet is occupied? I expected something like the titans rampaging through, maybe destroying a couple building are killing a pop? But occupation? There just a bunch of dumb animals.

So anyway, I started training assault armies on my homeworld, and I sent my small, 218 strength, fleet of corvettes to bombard the defense fortifications. Defense? Why would they have defense, again, there a bunch of big animals. I shouldn't have to bombard my own planet, I should be able to just land my assault armies and fight them.

But what set me off and brought me to the decision to create this thread was the space station.
Somehow, for some absolutely baffling oversight by paradox, the gigantic life somehow took over my space station.
Are you kidding me? This is just absolutely stupid. How did they even know I had one? How did they get to my space station? How did they fight inside of the much smaller corridors, airlocks, and doorways? How would they even comprehend how to do this?
I didn't even realize it belonged to them (because why should I) until my fleet had already jumped in and automatically started fighting without my consent or ability to pull away until both the fleet and my admiral were killed.
Seriously, why would the game give them my space station!!!???

I would have used console commands and save scumming to fix this mess but I just happened to be using ironman mode so that I wasn't locked out of the achievements.

The fact that all of this could have possibly happened the way it did, especially the space station, is completely broken and I'm baffled at how Paradox could have let this slide.

Now, I know I have been ranting in this post, but I just wanted to say that I'm not trying to insult paradox, and I want to thank them for putting so much work into making Utopia and banks a -mostly- amazing update. Unfortunately, this small incident ruined my campaign and now I don't have any desire to play the game for a while.
