Moreover, I sadly know the state of the game, but someone just told that the official stance is that the AI is broken and they state it, so we play a small game (NTDLR : I'd prefer to finish this playthrough but that is not possible, sadly, so I play on the forum)

They said they are working hard on fixing Le Guin.

They said it and then they deleted it. They have wiped any evident of they saying it. So it means they regret saying it.

I think that the dev was acting on his own accord and will face some consequences for his words, while maybe sincere, probably not in line with the current "silent running policy" of the rest of PDX Stellaris branch.

If they admit, that they shipped a product full well knowing it is broken, they might face fraud charges, which, some people might actually consider filing.

First, they could have just removed one or two replies.

Second, it was the ONLY statement ever made after the commence of the big storm.

Third, they haven't said anything to supplement after deleting the thread.

One guy, Dark something, said the whole team was not happy with the current state. There was a difference between finding out a problem and fixing it. And they were focusing on fixing it from that moment onwards.

I fear both possibilities.

One way, he, out of the 10 guys in the whole team, was the only one saying it and what he said did not represent the actual thinking of both the team and the big-shots.

The other way, he was right after a meeting and he was tasked to deliver some messages, as an expendable tool from the big-shots. And using a minor role to try to calm the fans, it was such an unsincere message from the company (although sincere from an individual).

Either way, it was bad.

Worse, they have removed that thread.

I have deliberated clicked on the link pointing at that thread from Reddit. And it said it was gone.

But it was the first, honest reply we got. That was acceptable. That was a way better job as CM than the ones done by the current CM. It just stated "yes the game is broken, we're no more happy about it than you. We're working on it". No more, no less. An ackowledgement in responsability as a company, no name, no discharge toward customers, an insurance that all was made to fix this mess.

That is ALL we, player, ask for. Someone honnest. Someone who care. Not some random CM deleting threads the guys paying him fill with 14 pages of replies and who do not have any insight about the current game state nor any answer to give to the community he is responsible for... fucking marketting age !

This is absolutely nowhere even close to saying what the title implies. I saw those posts myself.

So, again, was there something clear about the AI being felt as adequate by PDX and thus requiring no more work?
