The differentiation between provinces and regions sounds great! But I wonder how they will treat provinces that are split up among two or more nations. Are they considered separate regions? What happens after they're reunified?

No, the red lines are borders between countries.

So how do we know where the different regions are and what provinces are in those regions, or does the new interface mean that it's not really and issue?

That will be very easy to discern.

Clicking a province once will select the region/state. Clicking it once more or clicking its name in the province iw will select the province. You can also select provinces from the ledger.

Will the AI be able to cope with the military aspect of the game - i.e so many provinces/regions (more than in HOI) that it might be difficult to assess where it should attack and keep its troops...? Or is the battle system easier than HOI so it will not be such a big issue??

good question, in HoI the british Ai has no chance because it cant figure out how to defend such a large area. I would hate to see large Ai nations fall apart as easily in Vicy as they do in EU

imho one of the positive side effects of all these provinces is a total dislike for world conquest - and world war.

WWI didn't achieve the all out status as WWII (hoi) did,

the economical model - needed for stabile growth - will make a world conquest less feasable,

also it will give the smaller nations more of a chance with a greater number of provinces

Hoooo, Patric, could we just have a screenshot with a selected region ? Usually I don't do that but if we can't I die then go on trial with Paradox for murder ?

Just a small screenshot with a microscopic region ? Pleaaase ?
