So Luminary fall into coma when she is Synth? PDX didn't assume player go Synthetic Evolution?

Under One Rule is super buggy as it is. When the DLC first dropped it failed to convert my empire to Imperial, then when the Luminary's nonexistent heir died a bunch of text in events started breaking.

Shroud forbid your Leader's main species be set to the neutral gender option. The amount of "They is" and "Them are" in the events makes it feel like they completely forgot that they added it.

Do you need to use the green situation choice in order to get this to trigger? Seems like doing so will crash the economy
Build Ancient Refinery. 2 Ancient Refineries can support your golden throne. But I still hope they implement ascension events for luminary ASAP, Synth with life support system so stupid.

Yes. It's actually the only option where this happens. And the cost is ok. Buy them in the market if necessary. And After that your ruler is fully restored with the slight twist that you now even more have to look for your capital.

Thanks I was confused of how WH40k it really went. I thought he would just magically plot revive at a critical moment or something

There is debate over how to use the singular "they/them". "They is" could be correct, from a certain point of view.

A synth luminary should be sustained by a comparable chunk of energy, enough to run whatever mainframe he ascends to in order to store his 9001 iq planet brain. Meanwhile the chosen one luminary could feed on zro (which should be able to be generated in-house by sacrificing psychic pops, but that's another issue) while the cyborg luminary might need a steady supply of technology devoted to keeping his hardware, wetware, and software all updated and working in synch. The geneticist luminary probably just needs a ton of food (or minerals) to keep his army of backup clones fresh and ready.

In all cases you'd want to balance these costs against the rarity of the resource, so while the chosen one needs zro to stay alive, he needs MUCH less than the synth/genetic luminaries do of their basic resources upkeep cost, while the cyborg's research-based cost would be somewhere in between.

Perhaps, but then we get into the issue of consistency, because it is correctly (to me) worded as "they are" in every other event in the game.
