So License buying units..

Major powers never seem to allow license buy of new units, but obsolete/crap ones. Is this a feature of the game or I am doing something wrong?

Another one, Is it possible to License produce a modified unit? (Since AI is doing a lot of modification to its units along the way)

Last one; if the player gets a license production of a unit from a major power, does it come with the designer bonuses or with the standard features (i.e Focke-wulf adds reliability bonus to the aircraft - do we get it also?)

You can rely on licensing only if you're in the same faction. They'll sell licences even for the latest variants then.

I don't know about the designer bonuses.

Don't forget to use the often forgotton button: Improve relation. In the same faction is better. And shopping around. Some country are more willing to help.

Yes you can get the modified unit, and you can use your own xp to modify it further. Mouse over their x or checked answer to know why.
