Playing UK, 1.05c...

I deftly let the blitzin' German forces through the low-countries and sandwiched them between the Maginot line and several divisions of Churchill 70mm's in Arnhem with the idea that I could cut their supply lines at weak points. However, the AI hasn't left any weak points and has dozens of infantry swarming through Belgium and northern France.
So I push on and manage to completely surround Berlin.

Here's the problem. Berlin now has 119 divisions in it! And seems to be growing all the time. The enemy that I do encounter in the rest of Europe seems weaker, but are not the starving dreggs that I expected after cutting their supply from the capital, plus I don't have enough units to go mop up.
I tried bombing Berlin but he has now built 4 Anti-air batteries, and it takes weeks to recover enough org to strike again, b4 he recovers enough to shoot my planes down.
I tried strat bombing the heavy industry in the undefended heartlands, but they seem to recover at an alarming rate - and is that affecting him anyway?

How can I stop him building more units?
When I tact bomb the org from an inf unit outside of the cutoff Berlin, does the org recover?
Does the org diminish anyway without me tact bombing, as they are cutoff?
Is their any point in reducing the IC etc to rubble in the other provinces?
Exactly what is happening to him in there (Berlin) cutoff from the resources in the rest of his land?
Shall I persist in bombing the infrastructure in Berlin so the units starve? (it never seems to fall below 33).
How can he keep building flak and more volkst. units?

Any ideas?

Thanks...

Well, attack, what else :)

Attack from as many directions as possible, (5 or so).
Use at least ~70-80 divisions, max 24 with FMs from any adjacent province.
Germany suffers the encircled penalty and the leader penalty.

Your losses then should be moderate to low.

I'd say take Lance's and 2Coat's advice, in the order they gave it. Attack Berlin now with the forces you have surrounding it. You should find the forces within much weaker than you probably think. Then when that is done, mop up the rest of the Germans via encirclement and destruction, just like you did with Berlin. When you finally finish off Germany, start building forts along it's border with Poland, because in a few years you may have hordes of Soviets coming your way. I usually find that if Germany falls early, before the time frame where they usually go to war with the Sovs, the Sovs started eyeing the Allies as their target of choice.

Excellent job, btw, of containing their blitzkrieg while mounting one of your own.
