So is this the result of Paradox's licensing the Europa Engine?

I know awhile back there was a lot of talk of licensing the engine so independent people could make games using Paradox's old 2D tools...is this the first of what one hopes can be many releases in that vein? Or is this project unrelated to that/commissioned by Pdox for other reasons?

Very much so. I bet Johan drives to work in a Mercedes-AMG...

I thought Johan had a car similar to Obama's beast, immune to almost everything to prevent an assasination from angry mobs. Notably, Roman Mobs.

So who's making this game: Paradox or modders? If the later are they getting paid?
This is a team with modders that are also developers and/or players that are also developers and/or modders/players that are advisers:
MichaelM
Wreck
GeneralSnoopy
Dietmar1982
Garbon
and I!

They get paid if we buy the game.
Exactly! :)

They will get rich
And I'd prefer invest in development time for new versions instead of a brand new car... ;)
