that's 1 stab per 4/8 years, I never increase stability that often-10% stab is very strong. You stab up like at least a 50 may even be a 100 times in any playthrough,

Great! Bavaria is one of those countries that I always wanted to play but never got to because they're so meh. Good thing I waitedWhile they are a bit weak, saying that a +1 prestige idea is weak is not true. It means you will average about 10-20 prestige higher tjan those without it.
Inflation reduction and combat ability sucks though, so bavaria amongst others will be tweaked.
I agree with OP - Bavarian ideas are pretty meh. I played a game with them and was left going 'that's it?' a lot. It was easier than a lot of OPMs in the HRE, but the ideas really lack any kick. The Papal Influence & missionary strength are nice if you go Counter-Reformation to stay Catholic. Their rulers sucked too. Damn RNG...
My playthrough was only this successful (a relative term) because I was allied to France & a monster Poland w/ PU on Lithuania & Hungary. I was buddies with Austria for a long time until they decided I would be food. This is just a graphical mod that changes some country colours & TBARW + extras.
they can get inflation by taking tyrol, but I agree the idea is pretty uselesss10% reduce inflation cost. (With no gold mines nor ability to colonize or any real way to build inflation this is pretty worthless. Worse yet is even if they DID have inflation this saves exactly 7.5 admin power per button press. Not exactly amazing.)
My own mod - I just changed a couple colours on my own. Poland/Commonwealth & Scotland mainly. I might do Prussia too (to go the dark blue) and Bavaria (to go to a lovely Bavarian blue). What mod is that, with the colour change?![]()
Blue colour, please!
You know, I find it weird that Saxony is split, while Austria and Bavaria are united. And now Hesse will be split too. Why is it so inconsistent?
In the case of Austria, it is split in the 2nd bookmark.Saxony's and Hesse's splits lasted the entire game period - The Electorate of Saxony and the Saxon Duchies in Thuringia remained separate, as did Hesse-Kassel and Hesse-Damrstadt. Austria and Bavaria were united relatively early on, so the situation was more similar to a single house of closely-related people ruling jointly over the house lands than a single house ruling over divided states. There wasn't time for a feeling of separate states to grow.
Also: Austria and Bavaria = important states. Saxony and Hesse = less important states.
How can Bavaria be considered more important than Saxony? They both pretty important within HRE through the entire period....Saxony's and Hesse's splits lasted the entire game period - The Electorate of Saxony and the Saxon Duchies in Thuringia remained separate, as did Hesse-Kassel and Hesse-Damrstadt. ... and then, there's that.In the case of Austria, it is split in the 2nd bookmark.
