So if I want to use subs to strangle the UK, but also its troops in Africa, etc. - ideal sub raiding

I've got my subs doing convoy raiding around the British isles, and doing pretty good it seems - I'm constantly getting messages that they are seeking convoys.

But should I also be sending out subs to convoy raid at other locations to try and help to keep the Brits from getting supplies to their troops around the world in other places? Like in the sea provinces at both entrances to the Mediterranean for one example to limit their troops in north africa from getting supplies. Want their troops to starve and die or become such extreme pushovers just a unit or two can walk right through them.

Well, as all those supply convoys do originate from the british isles keeping a tight grip around them would likely suffice to make the UK run out of convoys and thus let their troops in Africa starve. For India it is different, India has enough ic to supply troops there directly.

Generally speaking i doubt that attempting to sink any convoys is in germanys best interest unless that is only a means to lure fleets where you awant to attack them. Sinking the entire UK merchant fleets is achieveable, but it is not very cheap and it may have sideeffects: The rares in Colombo and Singapore cannot be transdorted away and everything above the maximum of 10000 for the local depot will go into waste. Those are rares you could capture and utilize.
