So I'm finishing up my first full game. Yes, I've had the game for roughly 4 years and I've never played an entire GC. At any rate, I'd like to write begin writing AARs but I would like some tips from the masters around here on what are the dos and donts of this type of thing. After writing my first one, which I intend to place on another forum away from most of the EU2 veterans, I want to come back and do one here. Anyhow, let the suggestions begin!

Oh, and how do you take screenshots? I've lost my manual years ago and checked several threads on these boards concerning the matter with no luck. And after you've taken the screenshot, which file is it to be found under? Thanks!

First of all, just post ur AAR here lol, no one will bite you if its bad lol.
Second, to take screenshots hit printscreen and then what i do is hit edit paste in paint, save it, and use imageshack.us to host the image.

I wouldnt really say there are any do's and dont's besides just having fun with it, and writing how you want. The only donts i can think of are writing anything offensive and spelling horribly.
Just have fun writing it however you want, and i look forward to it and am sure it will come out great!

I've tried to use the printscreen button as this would seem to make the most sense. The only problem is that I can't seem to find where the screens are located in my EU2 folder once they've been taken. I'm sure I have just overlooked them somehow, but I have to admit that I've never written an AAR for any game I've ever played, including all of the TW series. So I guess I wouldn't know the first thing about taking screenshots lol.

Print screen only keeps one pic, which you must paste and save in a picture program, such as ms paint or photo shop etc.

Pressing F11 during game play is a much more economical way of taking screen shots. It saves ALL your pics in the main EU2 folder in bitmap form (under all the other files in the folder), eg ScreenSave1, ScreenSave2 etc etc

Thank you very much. I'll give it a shot.
