Unless it is uncertain whether the Aztec is a man or a woman, and you're using 'their' as a single neuter pronoun, as is common usage.

OH, of course of course.
 How stupid of me.
I prefer using "his" as the single neuter pronoun (in English), but I understand the use of "their".

Minodrin The mockery is over a typo.

But thanks for your reasonable response :)

The Aztec's are powerful but not impossible like the Mongol's. They don't have a billion Horse archers.

Yes, I know it's a typo. I just felt wrong when he didn't get one serious answer.

Oh well, he has edited his post. Seems like he'll know how to write Wales (and whales) from now on.

I think that some people were of the understanding that this was going to be a blog about a mesoamerican removal business.

Or to explain, the apostrophe signifies that you are talking about an object that belongs to the subject. The subject here being the Aztec, and the object being some packing (ie boxes of things). Another example would be "Where is Henry's ball?". The ball belongs to Henry. You should have omitted the apostrophe and written "So I sent the Aztecs packing". The 's' at the end of Aztecs signifying that the word is pluralised, and that the word 'packing' is a verb rather than a noun, meaning the act of putting their possessions in boxes in order to move them.

Seems like a rather orderly retreat on their part. Better would be to send them scurrying, or scampering perhaps.

Why all the mockery? His feat sounds somewhat impressive to me. At the very least he had fun doing it.

Of course I don't know whether the aztecs are a horrible opponent, since I don't have that DLC, but a few 100k armies do sound powerful.

Are you really that surprised that these forums are responding that way?

I am surprised.

As I think a different group of players would be involved in playing a game like this, as the game requires a level of intelligence and patience to play.

But I guess that I have false hopes.

All gaming communities seem to be plagued with this nonsense.

Worse yet, they really truly believe that that are funny.

I was hoping to come here and find some more detailed explanation regarding the Aztec DLC subject. I still haven´t bought CK2, so I thought it would be nice to gather some of the impressions from players about this awesome DLC.

It´s really a shame, though, so many people are still too busy ridiculing Paradox Interactive, as well as players who have the courage to admit they liked the Aztec DLC. They simply won´t let it go. All the sarcasm here represents nothing but the same old hatred that has been constantly displayed along this forum for over a month.

Well, too sad I could not find one single post that would actually stick to the OP. Instead, I could only find silly jokes and even more animosity disguised in the form of irony.

This is a good example of what I am talking about:

and dolphins

Ontopic:
Sunset Invasion is the only DLC i did not buy

When you say "Ontopic", you actually mean "Offtopic", right?

I love the Aztec DLC. It makes my games a lot more fun. It adds a threat to the area of the map that needs one. The west got too stale by the 1250s normally. It's great to shake things up. Bravo Paradox.

In my last game, while my sprawling kingdom of Brittany was in the middle of a war to finally push the Moors from Spain the Aztecs suddenly landed in Galicia. Although my troops were already called up in the area, I faced a two front war. I rushed my armies to Galicia by boat just before the Aztecs were about to assault themselves to a 100 warscore. What surprised me, however, was that after I beat the first 100k stack reinforcements kept coming. While I was in the middle of winning battle, suddenly a boat would arrive and dump 25k more guys onto the battlefield out of nowhere forcing me to react.

As soon as I win the war, the Aztecs then turned their power to Scandinavia. After quickly subduing Norway, many of their new Norse vassals revolted, Sweden declared war, and the Pope called a crusade onto them. I couldn't help but join in -- free kingdom, right? The Aztecs force were severely depleted. I won the crusade, and then Sweden finished off what territory remained outside de jure Norway. No worries. Around the same time the Golden Horde reached the edge of Poland and the Illkhanate took Anatolia from the Romans.

No whales were harmed in the making of this post, and the Aztecs were forced to do their own packing.

I don't like the Aztec DLC but to claim that I have some hidden grudge against chimosh is ridiculous.

Its more a joke about how often people on this forum misspell various things repeatedly, Whales and Wales, Gravelkind and Gavelkind....

If you find that disturbing I would recommend a dose of fresh air.

So after reading all the posts, I think I understand now. So the Aztecs invaded Scotland, but a certain king kindly fed his whales some gravel. Afterwards, the whales destroyed the Aztecs' boats, stole an anoymous Aztec's packing, and sent it to an unknown location. Afterwards, the whales were eaten by a Japanese-American man named Jonah in order to prevent the whales and their dolphin allies from conquering Europe.

This post made my day! You should probably send this to Fox News, they will most likely interrupt their current programming for breaking news about the Aztec-Whale crisis of Scotland with a decidedly Republican spin to it. :)

But there should be a time to know when to stop. Isn´t 2 pages of that enough?

I might follow your advice. But will you promise me that after I do what you said I will finally be able to read at least a few comments from people who actually bought the Aztec DLC and care about the OP ?

I think I have seen worse on the internet. After all, the humor was not mean-spirited and not directed at the OP nor at his content. Also, we have at least one commenter who shares his personal experience with Aztec invasions.

Not to forget: I applaud the OP for his valiant effort. Not having dealt with the same situation it seems to be quite the accomplishment you were able to achieve.

Its more a joke about how often people on this forum misspell various things repeatedly, Whales and Wales, Gravelkind and Gavelkind....

If you find that disturbing I would recommend a dose of fresh air.

First time the jokes funny, the second time.... not so funny. After 10 posts about the same thing......... just fcking pathetic.
