Yay, i've read quite a bit of topics here and no one mentioned it.
When you click on unit and expand its actions there is option to disband and put unit in sentry mode in wchich it awaits any enemy coming into its range of view.
Playing without it was really annoying (im like 25 hours into game) and it almost put me off from doing maps bigger than medium.
I do think this forum misses thread in wchich people could share beginners tips (sticked thread) as there are quite few tricks in game wchich are helpfull but not necessarily obvious. Like i figured out today how to upgrade unit
