Seems like it wont work for me or 98 percent of everyone else, is there an upcoming fix??

I don't think stability on inter-office lan matches is any way to predict the performance of hundreds of different ISP connections across the globe trying to interface. Give them some time to get the data and it will come together.Fiendix said:hmm if they were addicted how could they miss such a problem?![]()

What? I am not talking about public LAN stability. Fiendix asked how, if PI is so big on office MP, could they have so many problems with the public release state of MP.Kelden said:This is a prime example of people assuming instead of checking themselves, check facts instead of assuming. The LAN games don't work either and until they do I am not gonna touch the game with a long stick and rubber gloves.

I am saying that LAN matches are not a good indicator of open Internet play in general. I have not played either.
CTDs are indicative of client problems and are usually not restricted to MP just exacerbated by it.Kelden said:Yes that is exactly what you said, and what I said was that if they had actually tested the game over LAN they should have noticed that it crashes in LAN games indicating that something is seriously wrong with MP.
Therefore my belief is that they simply didn't bother.

I am and always was referring to the issue of connectivity. Being able to make EU3 MP connect and run on a Local Area Network has no bearing on how the system will fare when dealing with inter-continental exchanges with multitudes of different ISPs and firewall systems.
Yeah, I guess that no matter who was the host between me and 3 of my friends, all 3 of the people joining would all simultaniously crash at random times. I'm sure thats just a simultanious client problem right?Marcus Augustus said:CTDs are indicative of client problems and are usually not restricted to MP just exacerbated by it.
