So getting one-eyed prevents you from going on hunts

What gives Paradox? I'm perfectly fine and capable to hunt with just one eye, It's only the lack of ability to perceive depth

For those out of the loop: Since one-eyed is considered a health trait, you can't go on a grand hunt if you have any of the maimed traits.

There should be an event that might wound or kill your hunting partner if you hunt with the one-eyed trait instead.

Also, the OP could well turn a blind eye to this... oversight by the devs.

I mean to be fair, having only one eye really kills your depth perception, which I am sure makes it extremely hard to hunt......

Err...well....not really.

In real life I really do hunt, as well as participate in both target and active shooting...I also play very high level hockey...and I have been blind in one eye since birth. Never been a problem.
