I play the game since 1.1 and France allying Austria is such a bizarre happening that people want to see what his situation is. It´s curiosity and nothing more.

Don´t project your paranoia in anothers.

Eh, I see it often enough. Not all the time, and less so since the changes to the rival system, but still. Usually it doesn't last, but it does happen.

Well after the rival system what usually happens is that both France and Austria rival Burgundy... then when Burgundy is caput they reach each other throats, as France usually has to expand in the Empire - specially if they, well, are in friendly terms with Spain. Many stuff also depends on the rulers´personalities. A game where France and Austria have Militaristic is totally different from one where both are Diplomatic.

Regarding OP question itself, considering the condition for breaking of PU is negative prestige, without player intervention... that´s not going to happen in that case. France + Spain can destroy anything the AI can muster. The best chance was supporting independence ASAP, Once vassal attitude is positive, you will never bring it down again without Espionage.

Any game where Austria doesn't inherit Burgundy has a good chance of France/Austria becoming BFFs. They have nothing to fight over.

If at all possible I'd try to DoW France and beat them in enough battles to tank their prestige, then WP or get them to concede defeat or something. If you can get their prestige to -90 or so it's unlikely the AI will get it back up in time for their next ruler unless another major war breaks out for them to win. And since they are allied to Austria the chances of another major war breaking out are probably slim, so their nice little hugbox there would actually work in your favour.

France now has 210,000 men and Spain has 130,000, but their alliance with Austria ended so I got that going for me which is nice

What are your goals in this game? Unless you're trying to conquer the whole world, the PU shouldn't bother you that much.

Integration will actually remove a colonial and trade rival, which is good. With naval ideas, you should still be able to dominate the seas.even over a massive france. Just keep a big advantage in heavy ships (I'd go for 2x France's fleet size), and France should be a non-issue for you. You can even war with France, just sink their fleet and occupy all their overseas provinces and colonies. They'll blob mainland Europe, and you'll blob the rest of the world.
