I know this feature is already in the game and I have used it. But it is not properly implemented. Faction's name doesn't scale over and show on the wastelands making the whole thing look awkward and bad.
In the upcoming patch, Paradox have seemingly tweaked and fixed it, and that is the reason I want it.
It is properly done this time, compared to the cheap toggle in the defines.lua we had until now.

They are currently working on a CK2 expansion too which was supposed to ship this year as well.
From the look of things the EU4 team is ahead in development so my bet is EU4 release in December** and CK2 release in January.

Except 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 1.9, 1.13. Now, maybe a couple of those don't count as "major" but some surely do.

If you need to twist the data to fit your hypothesis you know you are using too much pattern matching.

Well i wouldn't describe WiH as an expansion DLC and more as a flavour dlc. And the focus of 1.9 was bug fixing. Sure all of the bug fixing patches had some other tweaks too and the free patches which came with the expansion DLC had some bug fixing too.
But you know the only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself
So i trust my statistic Of course there are always exceptions to some rules, but the overall course of patching should get clear.

yeah i just really like PDX buisnes model i mean they develop new features and expansions for this game 2 years after release.
and its like 5€ a month subscription i dont think that to much money for that awesome of a game.
compared to 1 new game every 12 months *cough* ubisoft ea *cough*
Well, one new game every 12 months is also about $5 per month, assuming $60 per game.
The awesomeness of said games may vary.
yeah and the price is rising steadily with all the micro transaction even in freaking singleplayer games ....
