Does Android have a tablet equivalent?

Also any chance we'll ever see our favorite P'dox in house games making their way to tablets?

The best answer we've gotten so far is "yes, but don't hold your breath." So, i'm thinking we might see something early 2013? Pure speculation on my part though.

And there are lots of tablets that use Android. It's not locked down like with Apple products though, so theres no single "official" android tablet.

I personally enjoy my Samsung galaxy 8.9, its a nice middle ground between large and spacious while also being comfy and light in my hands.

I was just thinking the other day that there's a gaping hole in the market for serious strategy games on the iPad. Not sure what the Android tablets have to offer, but so far the best things I've come up with are King of Dragon Pass, which is sorta-kinda like Crusader Kings and Pirates!, which isn't really like a Paradox product, but is very much like its PC equivalent.

Ive always wanted a fluid wargame for a tablet where you and your friend sit down and take turns to draw attack arrows and fort lines and try to predict each others moves. Perhaps move a few support units / artillery behind the lines and set targets for airstrikes/AA.

Then watch the mayham together as both moves play out simultaneously!



Think HoI3 on a tactical level but without cumbersome provinces. Kind of like the ruse trailer but real.
I think that would be awesome fun.
