It's more of a Steam's policy as far as I know, and considering that Paradox is now Steam-exclusive...It's so sad that a European company rips Europeans off. €1 is worth $1.27... I know you don't use the Euro in Sweden but come on, Johan!

Exchange rates are only a part of the story. You also need to consider VAT & other taxes and the purchasing power of $1 or €1 in the local economy. Prices in US$ and € tend to be similar because someone making US$50k in the States would make about €50k doing the same job in, say, Italy. Paradox, and any other business, would be throwing away money if they didn't take this into account.
This happens all over the world and in just about every industry.
According to Steam, the publisher sets the price and not Valve. It's more of a Steam's policy as far as I know, and considering that Paradox is now Steam-exclusive...
Like I said, the price is completely up to the publisher of the game.I'm not sure how steam does its math, but if CoP is 15€ they don't convert it for another currencies, for example, CoP is R$24,00 if they would convert it the price would be at least R$45,30

20 euros? Seems I won't be buying that until some sale :/
I heard consoles are super expensive though, because of massive taxes. Is that true?So seems that at least once in my life games are cheaper in Brazil then in Europe hahaha.
€20 is about $25, not $30.It's so worth it. Keep adding ROTW contents, I will even pay $30!
p.s. you should make it 19.99 and 29.99 like other companies![]()
In a fair amount of pricing on Steam, they seem to be, though. I don't know enough about European taxation to say what effect that has here, though. They are not the same.![]()

Since I seem to recall that CoP was £10 (66% of $/€), we can assume that AoW will be about £14 (give or take a pound or two). What about in GBP (£)?
I'm glad to know! Can you give some examples what is worth that money based on your gaming experience? Because I don't want to believe that you state something is worth money without actually playing it...It's so worth it. Keep adding ROTW contents, I will even pay $30!
If that's the case then ok, hopefully they will not charge £20:blink: I really like Paradox games but I'm not that... unsmart, to pay such disproportionate price. Doesn't matter if it's Paradox or any other company.Since I seem to recall that CoP was £10 (66% of $/€), we can assume that AoW will be about £14 (give or take a pound or two).
Because Paradox has decided to charge Europeans more. Their price-policy is worse than the ones of larger corporations.BTW why American players can to pay less? It's a bit unfair, isn't it?
