Ok it doesn't hurt to ask, I know everybody wishes that. I just wonder: the reason why we don't have snow in all maps is just for coherence? I mean, having snow on a palm tree, or a beach city or snow in flower pot and farms?

If yes that is a silly reason. Please bring snow everywhere or make it possible to do by mod.
I don't think 90% of the players would care about those details. I'm not asking for 4 seasons, but CO did such an amazing job with snowfall. The light is amazing, the maps already can get completely cleared from snow and have a bit of sun. I really don't see how that cannot be together with rain and full sun. Perhaps the terrain change would be too much on CPU?

I think the worst part of snowfall is the fact snow is only on the new maps.

I think new maps and map themes are great for expansions, but it's a shame to link most of the features to that new theme and exclude existing maps (and by extension existing cities).
I hope they expand the systems they just added a bit and allow the theme editor to control the average temperature per month and average precipitation per month and then use those figures to determine if it's going to rain or snow, and let it do both on the same map.

I support this solely as an in-game option. Having snow in a tropical zone or savanna is pretty irrational to the point of breaking immersion.
On the other hand, perhaps different climates could face different challenges? Droughts in deserts and monsoons in the tropics might be cool.
