During the games time period ottoman would ocasionally raid into neighbouring lands even during times of peace,the balkans were devestated by these constant raids and eventually organised their own little raids to retaliate and loot enemy provinces.
In short id like to propose that there be an option where we could invest a bit of our millitary power points into small scale raids that would give us a small boost in army tradition and cash income but would have negative effects on relations with the target country.
Kind of like a type of policy but as a decision with a country we share a border with with a monthly cost on millitary power.
This type of decision would only be available to nations of different religious groups,so catholics and orthodox could raid muslim provinces and vice verse but couldnt raid each other in peace time.
As for solid effects apart from an income and army tradition boost maybe they could have some religious benefits.
Like catholics getting papal influence,orthodox getting patriarch authority and muslims getting piety boost.
