##Instructions

* You need Python 3. This script was written and tested on Python 3.5.1 but slightly older versions should work as well.

* DO NOT try to run this script on Python 2. Python 3 and Python 2 are not compatible with each other.

* You can download the appropriate verison of Python 3 from https://www.python.org/downloads/
* If you use an OS with a package manager (most mainstream *nixes) you can download python3 from there
if you do not already have it.

* This program is invoked from a command line interface. I have only tested it on a linux terminal, but you should be able
to run it on a Windows Powershell (preferred) or Command Prompt without problems, especially with the default.

Updated to Version 2. Now it supports custom modifiers applied to all the songs, supplied via a file.

I guess I'm a little unclear what this does. So you say it generates a script. Are you saying if I have a ton of music files, I can feed them into this software, and it will automatically generate a songs.txt file? Furthermore, doesn't CKII only support .ogg files, or would this software know of a way to handle other formats?

That is correct. The generator will only add files that have a .ogg extension. Adding support for other files is a trivial change though. The only reason I am enforcing the .ogg requirement is because that is the standard way to name vorbis encoded music stored in the Ogg container.

However the Ogg container can also store other formats like flac and lpcm, and vorbis can also be stored in some other containers like matroska (mkv, mka).

So the generator currently makes it your responsibility to ensure that the files you give it are correctly encoded. If you lie to the script then it will not do any deeper checking.

Yes, but if you want to add 100 songs then that coding can really add up !

Well, yeah, but then I still have to manually add the specific cultures and religions and whatever else (I still don't know how to do).
I'm kind of on the fence, between this and making a bunch of songs for, say, norse pagans, copy-paste those and then just change the titles. Maybe if I was starting from scratch I'd try this, but as is, I'll keep doing as I'm doing.
