Things went a bit slow due to a slow victory over the soviet. One thing that annoys me is that Italy dows USSR when you as Germany is fighting in America or deep in Asia.

Here you can that I have used cheat(acceptall) because I dint want Italy to make this decision. If the soveit had made the attack then I would have made an offensive ageist them.

mostly UK gets annexed between 1947-50 in my games, but if you liberates U73(England) and then India things turns out differently.

Here Germany has to liberate china from USA

I have been using patch1.9 changes 22. I must say UK made a good fight this time it even affected the Barbarossa operation.

To bad you must build England's navel-fort before you liberate them. But England can be a useful manpower pool for Germany to get extra support troops for the war in soviet Asia or just anti-partisan units. However they are not so strong as Hungary and Romania. Another plus side is that U73 can provide some good blueprints.

Where did you encounter most of the USA army? I hope in North America!

The England AI can easily be edited so itself can build coastal forts, but preferably only after it's run out of manpower, so a switch event would be best IMO.

The best solution is to edit the AI in the savegame at your own convenience. Any switch event would just provide a mediocre solution, as the conditions would not fit very good.

The U73-AI could once make two level of coastal-battery when at war with the USA and then just switch back to infantry. U73 should build a few more infantry units with artillery brigades.

Yes I did encounter some resistance in North-America, But they where stronger in the air than one the land. It must also be mention that the US-army made two attempts to liberate the west-cost sending many troops from the pacific theater to stop the axis hold of America. Allied Venezuela tried also to help the US annex Axis-Mexico.
*Mexico should side more often with the Allies during the mid or late 40s if the Axis or Soviet aggression get to strong.

USA tried and almost succeeded to penetrate the Axis-Irish and Axis-English defenses. The US-AI also invaded north Africa and landed in the Balkans. UK tried some attempts to invade Iberia.

Good to know all this. I didn't know Mexico could join the Axis. For most of Central and South America: is their neutrality ever lowered? I can only seem to get Venezuela into the Allies in the region.

hi, Mexico didn't join the axis it was annexed by Germany and liberated by Germany. Some of the south American stay neutral all the time. Brazil can get belligerent if Argentina is in the Axis. A bit weird that Neither Brazil or Mexico is joining the allies if the enemy is getting to dangerous. Some of the central American countries often dow Japan and Germany when the war goes beyond 45.

Oh ok, so no Central or South American country (bar Venezuela) will join the Allies pre-1945 when playing relatively historically?

Well I can only say so fare in the AODs games most south-American and central-Americans countries choose to stay neutral. IIRC there was maybe an event for Brazil to join the allies in older hoi2 games. Argentina is somewhat interested to join arms with GER/ITA. It might be possible to get Brazil into the Axis if its Paternal with 200+ in relation.
