Why did they change the name to Slovianskan? What does it mean? I'm curious, and I can't find it anywhere on google.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
It is an abomination that is supposed to mean 'Slavic', as far as I can tell. Derived from Sloviansk(a) which sounds vaguely like a Russian (=Slavic language) adjective.
The previous term, Poganstvo, was 1) too generic because it just meant "Paganism" in various Slavic languages and 2) has developed into some kind of derogatory term in modern Russian, which made it ill-fitting.

From Slavic I presume? They didn't want any overlap between culture and religion names (understandable, but debatable).
