Well, as long as we are discussing DP sliders, I might as well lay mine out...sorry if it's a little OT.

Plutocracy ----------X Aristocracy (10)
Decentralized ----------X Centralized (10)
Narrowminded X---------- Innovative (0)
Free trade X---------- Mercantilism (0)
Defensive ----------X Offensive (10)
Naval -------X--- Land (7)
Quantity ----------X Quality (10)
Free Subjects X---------- Serfdom (0)

Aristocracy is nice for the diplo bonus
Centralization gives me back some of the tech loss from narrowminded, and gives better production.
Narrowminded gives colonists, stability, and missionaries, need I say more?
Free trade is nice for the extra colonists/merchants.
Offesive is handy for morale and shock bonuses, and I never build forts over level 1 anyway.
I tend to prefer Land combat, but I like to keep my navy viable.
Quality's firepower and morale bonuses are too good to ignore.
Freedom's morale and production bonuses are good.

As you can see, I rarely do anything with half-measures.

well mine are...

Plutocracy --X-------- Aristocracy (3)
Decentralized X---------- Centralized (0)
Narrowminded ---X------- Innovative (4)
Free trade X---------- Mercantilism (0)
Defensive -L-------E- Offensive (10) ( E is early, L is late)
Naval -X--------- Land (1)
Quantity ----------X Quality (10)
Free Subjects ----X------ Serfdom (5)

My the same as a lot of people, with some obvious exceptions...

Plutocracy : I find diplo-annexing anyone besides Sweden pretty easy, and that trade bonus is damn nice to be better than the Prodestants, sine 95% of the time if theres a choice I'll be Catholic.
Decentralized : I simply can't afford to keep this slider up on Centralized. If events give it to me, good, if not, I'll keep it where it is.
Narrowminded : 4 because CRC and Shipyards will give me a lot of colonists, but I need missionaries to convert minority religions.
Free Trade : More merchants and colonists. Nuff said.
Defensive / Offenisve : Like a lot of people, offensive early in the game defensive later in the game. This used to be a priority slider, but now not so much so.
Naval / Land : I need colonists to keep up with the race, esp. in MP. It helps chances of getting random explorers which is good for a nation that dosen't get any like Brittany. Also, I don't like having 15% taken off my colonies' tax.
Quantity / Quality : I love quality. It helps me make up for the naval morale deficiency.
Free Subjects : Don't care either way, if I'm playing OE or Russia I'll be serfdom but if I'm playing France or England I'll play Free Subjects.

As you can see, my setting suck big time early on. People will go land and give them a morale bonus over me, and they'll units will be cheaper. But later in the game my infantry-and-artillery armies heavy in fire usually pull through. Expensive, tho.
