Why is it 100%? its more than the spanish civil war debuff!

i understand taking attrition but -100% is absolutely ridiculous. all you can do is just give up your territory or your army if on the border of bulgaria is just wiped out.

How to you plan for this? the imro can happen at any time?

i just lost a byzantine empire achievement run, because of this. one second my army is perfectly fine, and then i look back and i have lost the game. Absolutely the most FUN game design choice ive ever seen made in this game.

Things might not be as bad as you think. The tooltip is confusing (green checkmark means "about to fail" ???), and it makes no sense why the required divisions to keep the IMRO decision from canceling are higher than what is required to start the decision.

But once that is out of the way, you can remove the malus permanently with the below steps:

The most broken part is that if the mission to remove the IMRO fails, you can't restart it, and you are stuck with massive attrition in several states for the rest of the game. Which leaves you worse off than if you never tried to eliminate the final IMRO debuff in the first place.
