It would be nice to have a button like space bar etc that would speed up the mech animations or skip it entirely to speed up the battles.

There also seems to be a lot of wasted time in between turns that could be improved.

Yes! Please add an animation slider or a skip button. The pacing is way too slow. It's okay to emulate giant, heavy mechs. But gameplay wise it's disrupting combat and thinking flow.

This feels so critical to continuing enjoyment of the game that I want to add yet another comment in support. The game is incredibly beautiful and I know they want to show it off and have the right feel, but eventually it does become repetitive and I really want to make faster progress in the plot. Please please please prioritize this setting!
