Skill "requirement not met"

So I'm in Rust Canyons right now trying to free two captive Disfavored soldiers. My top two dialogue options are an Athletics 40 and a Lore 40 check. My main character's skill levels are 65 and 45 respectively, yet the options are marked in red and say "requirement not met". I've tried selecting just my main character, different companions who meet one or more of the requirements and the party as a whole. None of it works.

Hi @Madara0 !

Unfortunately, it looks like you've found a bug :/
It looks like those options should be available to you and we'll have to dig into it to find out why they aren't.
In the meantime, there should be another option in that dialogue that lets you free the Disfavored captives without the skill check - selecting that one will do what you need to resolve that particular encounter. Unfortunately, you'll miss out on the Skill experience that you would have gotten from using the Athletics or Lore options

If that doesn't work for you, could you post a save file so that I could load it and look at your specific circumstances? The save files for Tyranny can be found at C:\Users\%username%\Saved Games\Tyranny. If you name your save in-game, that same text will be in the file name so it will be easy to find.

I was looking for a thread like this! Just ran into the exact same problem. If you still need a savefile to sort the bug out, I'd be glad to provide one.

@Iohanna It looks like we won't need any more save files, but thanks so much for offering! One of our wonderful devs has already figured this one out, and the fix will be in an upcoming patch. For the time being, though, you'll have to select one of the other dialogue options, unfortunately.

I ran into the same bug post 1.0.1.0010 in Halfgate/Plainsgate on the Disfavoured path. Speaking to Misery of the Scarlet Chorus there is a Lore 32 check I cannot select despite having 160+ Lore on a mage. Save attached if it helps.

The team will look at that conversation and hopefully have it addressed soon. Similar to the one mentioned earlier, the missing option here doesn't progress the quest in a radically different way, so for the time being selecting another option will allow you to progress.
