Ok, that's fair.kristoff said:What Razor1 said. Just look what symbols were used on military vehicles - in many cases they were the same. In Finland it was different (mostly), in some other countries too, but we had to compromise. We like unified icons style for all.

I think direct-linking to a site which shows a swastika is against the forum rules.Van der Gent said:Now what's that on the side of the turret?![]()

In Finland (and Latvia) during WWII it was not a Nazi symbol in any way.Bullfrog said:He' still right and you should know better having "been here for quite some time now"
8. It IS illegal to show Nazi flags in Germany and various other countries. The same is true for other Nazi symbols (e.g. related to the SS) or Nazi propaganda material, including songs etc. Any links posted to a scenario or mod which includes a Swastika or other illegal Nazi symbols will be deleted. Any threads that complain about this issue will be closed. You may also be subject to disciplinary action for having done so.
Indeed, but the forum doesn't care about that. A swastika is a swastika here and no swastikas are allowed.Herr Doctor said:In Finland (and Latvia) during WWII it was not a Nazi symbol in any way.

But apparently it's OK to show the Falun Gong swastika here, since German law has allowed that to be shown in Germany.KanaX said:Indeed, but the forum doesn't care about that. A swastika is a swastika here and no swastikas are allowed.
Too bad the Falung Gong swastika is facing the wrong way. And Falung Gong was HUGE in the 1940's.mib said:But apparently it's OK to show the Falun Gong swastika here, since German law has allowed that to be shown in Germany.
So just claim that you're showing the Falun Gong swastika...![]()
