Since we have a sale, was "American Dream" DLC fixed? Is it worth buying?

A simple question to all those who already have this DLC.

This was on the 1.7 patch notes:
-American Dream DLC events can now trigger from a Thirteen Colonies in revolt.


Was there something else broken with it?

That said, there are still some odd issues, and some of the historical events and missions need to be made a bit more dynamic, as the DLC assumes the USA will be formed from a British colony*, and there are missions that try to get you to ally with France, regardless of the actual situation in Europe (it should check to see who the rivals of the tag you declared independence from are, and get you to ally with them instead.)

Random New World sucks. Big time.
It sucks so much, that I start to wonder if devs even attempted to read wikipedia about tectonic forces and related fields. Heck even noise algos should to better (I could most likely be wrong. Since Pelrin's and whosnot noise should be known in gamedev world and I never used that).
I played it once and it was SO ugly, that I'll never do this again.

American Dream should work. If you play Extended Timeline, the USA will be spewing out event announcements of the DoI in 2014. Bout time we were independent I say. Thanks Obama for ending the British Tyranny.

Anyway, does the colony have to be a British colony named "Thirteen Colonies" or can it just be the colony that is situated in the Thirteen colonies region, maybe even with another name or culture?(New Prussia or some random name).
