Where is the dedicated guide, directions, or developer comments on why there is a total LACK of mods for this game?

Maybe its because a mod is a change from a complete product...which we would need one in the first place?

Or it could be the game hasn't been out long enough to bring about major modifications. Course if you had bothered to look at the main thread here you'd see there is a dedicated guide to modding.

I'd love to take a crack at modding majesty, but what I *really* want to do is starting modifying the AI. If the devs don't provide decent scripting tools, I can't really do that.
