The map looks like fantastic with the terrain under the political map, and the interface seems very friendly but... I can't see any river! I believe the Pó, Tiber and maybe the Danube, but I can't see none of them. As they are one of the most important factors in battle, it would be interesting to distinguish them clearly.

River's aren't implemented yet.

Colors are probably moddable. Personally I sorta like the scheme and feels reflective of the period.

yeah colors are very moddable. we havent really gone over them properly yet and I think most are just copied straight over from HoI3 files to have something to work with, so dont worry too much about color choices yet.

Is their level-of-transparency moddable, too? I personally preferred the cleanliness of Victoria 1's political map, without the terrain visible underneath the country colours, but I get the impression I'm in a very small minority on that count.

yeah its moddable as well
